"Youth Opportunities in the Process of EU" Seminar Was Held

"Youth Opportunities in EU Process" Seminar was held by Secreteriat General for EU Affairs (EUSG) and hosted by Marmara University in 4 May 2001, at Marmara University Goztepe Campus  - Faculty of Arts and Sciences Conference Hall Istanbul.

The opening speeches of the seminar is made by Mr. Ahmet Yucel, Deputy Secretary General of EUSG, and Prof. Dr. Mr. M. Zafer Gul, the rector of Marmara University.  In the seminar, Life Long Learning and Youth Programmes, Marie Curie Programme which is a sub component of 7th Framework Programme and EUROPASS concept and documents are introduced to the attendants.

The seminar attracted more than 250 university students. During the seminar, the importance of European wide mobility of youth and academic personnel via exchange programs and the strenghtening of cooperation in projects are highlighted.
