Acting Undersecretary Ambassador Selim Yenel Attends the EU-Türkiye Youth Forum

Acting Undersecretary Ambassador Selim Yenel attended the EU-Türkiye Youth Forum entitled “Changing the Lives – Expanding the Horizons”  organized by the EU Information Centers Network on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the Erasmus + Programme on 28 April 2017.

Ministry for EU Affairs Acting Undersecretary Ambassador Selim Yenel, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye Ambassador Christian Berger and IKV President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu made the opening speeches of the forum bringing together university students from across Türkiye. 

In his opening speech, Ambassador Yenel stated that Erasmus Programme, which has grown and developed since 1987, is a branded initiative of the European Union. Ambassador Yenel also underlined that thanks to the Programme tolerance and intercultural understanding increased,  prejudices were overcomed through the relationships established between people with different cultures.
